Agree totally on the racist taunts and abusive language. The stewards warned the persons concerned and then failed to eject them when the behaviour continued. The Leigh 'Fans' then began to mock the fax fans who turned to the stewards requesting action. The stewards just shrugged their shoulders. The steward stood in the control box at the back of the North stand saw the behaviour and failed to act. A full investigation needs to take place. At the end of the game they spat on Halifax fans repeatedly.

Felt bad for Paul White, he didn't half recieve some abuse from the Leigh fans in the area I was sitting in.

Out of order with the racist stuff, Leigh have a habit of singing racist songs too. Widnes complained to the RFL a few years ago regards this when they visited and it appears things havent changed.

Back to the game! Well done 'Fax - as I said in the programme, the mentality of 'you score two, and we'll score three' is highly entertaining! The better team won, and I think Leigh did very well to claw back the bonus point, when a humiliation was on the cards, at 46-28. Leigh were always chasing the game.

Oh, and just to balance some earlier posts, I spent a pleasant afternoon, in the West stand, with some knowledgable and friendly 'Fax fans!

Great in Attack and if we could catch kick offs we would have won convinvingly. I thought the defence was decent in general play (i.e Not on our try line) and the line speed and hits we put in were both very good. Shame about little mistakes after we scored a try which let them back into it.

Appreciate your comments and am sure the majority are decent, just a shame that none of you were in the North stand (of which we were told by some Leigh fans that we shouldn't even be there cos it was their stand!!). Never come across abuse like that before and found it very upsetting. Oh well, you live and learn!

You haven't posted the truth, you just posted a one-sided opinion of how Fax stole all their points.

I wouldn't presume to be so one-eyed - so here goes..............

We had our best team out there today and Leigh had a few missing so it's going to be difficult to overhaul you lot this year. I thought you battled well and you certainly had the measure of us on the kick-offs. All in allthough i thought we were the better team - just. I'm certainly pleased we won - away from home against a team that mullered us at the Shay so i'm very pleased. I'm still hating the bonus point though ....................

We got enough practice at them!!!
