My lad is 11 so he is pretty much fully clued up, been a fanatic since he was 3. But I do remember having to explain some bad times to him. Like our last season in SL. I remember carry him back to the car at Cas, him being in tears and asking "Dad, will we ever win a game?". That was his first season so he got off to a bad start.

But I can see how there must of been some very upset young children today, like the kids that dance at half-time, of the mascot or just about any kid that spent the weekend looking forward to the game.
