I am sorry a.n.other but today Brannigan was not the organiser today he was more interested in keep moaning to the referee all game.Yes hes a born leader but not today.Ben Black is getting some form back and great to see Shad Royston picking up a couple of tries,his support play reminds me in many ways of Kris Radlinski when he played full back for Wigan.The players allowed themselves to get dragged down to their poor standards and level,they were poor and a little more composure Fax could quite easily have scored 50+.

On current form it would be damm sight closer than it was when we played them last. The defence in the main today was very good. We had good line speed and some very hard tackles going in.

Nice to see Blacky back to something like his best, Shad was great again, Aizue had his best game yet (shame about the pass that ended his break) - he ran strongly in attack and hit hard in defence. How the Haven no 8 did not get sent off for his 'assault' on Dylan Nash just before half time is beyond me. After the game Coxy on radio Cumbria said he was unlucky to be sin binned

I still feel that we are missing Gleeson - the team looks much more 'settled' when he is on the park. We are no where near the finished article yet but the signs are encouraging at the moment.

Interesting how you've not mentioned Maloney's "assault" on Leroy Joe in the opening 10 minutes. If Jacko should've been sent off then so should Maloney.

The best rugby side definately won although we probably had more possession and built more pressure particularly in the last 20 minutes but we never looked capable of scoring enough points to win. I would say my only criticism of Fax is that every other pass seems to be forward and there was a long pass in the build up to your last try that went a good few yards forward.

At least Maloney took on the man one-on-one whilst standing and not while he'd been tackled and held on the floor by another 2 players, Blatant Cowardice if ever i've seen it.

What is it with 'haven fans and 'forward' passes. Every game I go to up there you can hear the 'haven fans shouting FORWARD for every pass, even the ones they cant see

Because they were forward. I've never seen it too an extreme like today.

I take the point above about Jackson taking the man on the ground but both offences warranted a Red Card and he couldn't have sent Jackson off after what had happened previously. He just lost total control of the game for both sides he was crap.
