As for the taped off area, indeed it was an incident at a footy game and was cordened off as thats where the away players went after the game, i presume it will now be removed.

Better get editing that franchise application then

rest of ground holds over 9000 so can see north only open when really needed.

looks like a good game this sunday so 3 of us making the trip over.

Is there parking nearby chaps and how much can i expect to pay

Depends on whether the HBOS car park is open, (Hunger Hill). They were charging £2 when it was open, and it's secure. You'll be best contacting the club about that. There is also the B&M car park, not sure of the price, bottom side of the Shay. Not heard good things about it, tbh. There's Huddersfield Rd., or plenty of parking spaces in the town centre - only 5 mins walk to the ground.

B&M car park is £2 and, without wanting to jinx it, I've parked on there plenty of times without a problem.

There was some bother at one game last season or the one before, that's why I mentioned it. There was a chav element, but I believe they are gone.

Nah I'm not playing, had already booked my seat on the minibus. Off to Toulouse on Wednesday anyway so knowing how these 'tag' games go, I don't fancy getting injured beforehand

Why is the North Stand not going to be used?
They expecting us and Leigh/Widnes fans to all be in the South Stand less those who sit in the East Stand?
I was hoping that the games against teams who will bring 500 or more would be put in the North Stand its better for both sets of fans.

It would appear to me that a lot is riding on how many people move to the East Stand. To me, I imagine most 'movers' would be from the Skircoat with not many from the South, surely?

Dare say Sunday will be a trial run for such a situation and will be used when deciding what happens when you play Widnes. Not much good for us, though
