| tough one but if you've gone for cardiss as he did well in super league, then i guess you have to go with someone who performed at that level in each position.
2 of these for me:
beckett - was best winger we've had for a while and nobody better since but only played 1 season
marns - consistent and always gave 100% if not the best ability wise
greenwood - always scored tries although defensively not the best. did well in relegation year in poor team.

| Robbie Beckett cos he was quality in a poor team, James Haley cos he is consistent, can defend, take a high ball and goes in the Ivy

| I can't believe no-one's mentioned that Jim Naylor try at the Shay the night Iestyn got prodded in the eye !!!! Jim Naylor eh, anyone actually remember him ?
Big Andy Smith ???
My single suggestion would have to be the ever-reliable James Haley.

| Wasnt he the Fax lad that played union up at Newcastle Colin? Think he scored a nice little try against Leeds to win the game about 9 years ago.

| Cant remember Beckett so my vote goes with Sherriffe.
Haley will be going for my best centre vote.

| Robbie Beckett-Quality player who sadly was in a poor Fax team compared to previous seasons. Shame he only stayed 1 year.
Lee Patterson. Maybe not a top try scorer but the way he has improved each year and the way he has won us games with his hidden talent as a Goalkicker makes it for me. Attitude is good to boot. Would like him to score more tries however. I would put Haley as a Centre more than a winger.

Only in 1999, but still a very good winger.
Freddie played in the Second Row when he came back in 2005.

Of course, how many other players have scored the match winning interception try to send Fax top of the league?
He gave a coaching session in my Yawnion days and I asked him about it and he said he enjoyed it quite a lot!

That's the lad, I think he started out at Old Crocs.
