I remember Ben Beevers whipping out his old man and taking a leak on the halfway line just before the kick-off of a Batley A-team match when he played for us.

Dick Fairbank - just ask Kurt Sorensen after Dick put him on his backside with one punch at Naughton Park. He was also the one that upended Les Boyd and Kevin Tamati in same game at Wilderspool.

A few others who didn't take a backward step - Steve Smith and Alan Wood, in the days when a 26 man free-for-all happened every game.
