Cant agree mate. Halifax have always been a club where the fans love the big barnstorming prop that takes four defenders with him but does nothing else. God knows why! Davidson was a typical example of this...he took the ball up and got a big rousing cheer and then stood around and did nothing else. Just before he left i watched him come off the bench for a 20 minute stint and he took the ball up once, gave away 3 penalties and made 2 tackles. Cherryholme works his backside off and will get better and deserves some credit for a young lad IMO. My point being that its easy to see a players failings as i might have done with Davidson but at least with Neil there are many positives to his game.

Yeh I understand he will improve, big guy with some speed and awareness. But they shouldn't have played him in the final.

Frank doesnt have the workrate of Cherryholme and in theory would have been exposed by the Barrow pack. I didnt think Cherryholme did too bad, its just that the one silly offload he made has been magnified.

MC said he'd picked Chezza over Frank because he felt they (Barra) would target him as his defence isn't as good as Chezza's. Add that to the rumour that Frank has been carrying a thigh injury for the latter part of the season and it made sense to play him. I'm glad he's here but like said earlier, he need to show some real aggression this year, without a penalty count hopefully.

Glad we've decided to give him another year, he may not be first choice but is a decent back-up.

Keighley fans rated him from a loan spell he had there while he was at the Bulls, and he aint done too bad for us, people have just made a big deal of his mistakes

he will go well next year. he has experainced Forwards like Aizue next year to guide him.

They may well have taken a pay cut if they have been offered the security of a two year deal. Maybe SOC needs to look at who sorts out the wages at Widnes. dosent seem like your getting value for money.
