seriously though you probably deserved it after finishing top. showed how close both clubs are tonight though really tight for pretty much all of the game.

i said at the game that it was a bad time for Pats to have his worst kicking goals game of the season.

if he had converted them all you never know we might have pinched it but i cant really complane.

We were not robbed, thats for sure but some little things didnt go for us.
Summed up our season. Just a bit short.
Nearly...... Patto was nervous. shame.

A much improved performance, I thought we were the better side, especially with ball in hand. But, we lost once again through giving away silly penalties, forcing non existent passes and making poor decisions. Hopefully Stanley will bring some calm and sense next year.

Well done fax, a hell of a season

Really enjoyed the game today. Loved the stadium - nice and tidy and it carries a good atmosphere. Well done Fax for a terrific defensive effort and well done Barrow. NRC finalists and GF winners at the first time of asking. Great achievement for the club and their colourful chairman. A great day out. Roll on 2010 !

Not being disrespectful to Barrow (and well done for the victory today) but I just feel our efforts were not rewarded today. In the first half we were the only team playing and should have gone in at the break at least winning by 6 points. Instead a blatant forward pass was missed and Barrow were back in the game. Even in the second half it was Halifax who were making all the effort but ultimately we were undone by some poor handling, needless penalties and very poor goal kicking. But hey it been a good afternoon out, seen two great matches for £16, witnessed an ace Black try and now sitting down to a curry. Well done to all the players and staff for the great effort today; we are least these days going in the right direction!

Fax played the rugby and handed it to Barrow in the end.
