how about someone from the club contacts the 800 season ticket holders by telephone, explain the purpose of the exercise/get them to buy in and then send round the cashfax collectors with the direct debit forms, sign them up there and then, bring the form back to the club to process - how hard can this be?

Still believe sending it to the courier as an open letter would be a good idea to try get more people to read/see it
