Have you seen the Barrow forum? It's sponsored by Texan tumbleweed. He's one of a few from up there who have mastered the art of structured keyboard bashing.

After being battered by just about everyone for years now they're obviously doing well for once and on a high. But to come here and play the wind up merchant to cause argument is just out of order. Especially as you've not been competitive since the 70s, you'll always have very little to shout about compared to us.

Look at the end of the day people won't flood back until the success is shown in trophies. We were winning last year and top of the table for a while and no different so far this year.

We need to be winning trophies and maybe the lost fans will start to come back in bigger numbers. The crowd figures are improving a bit at a time, but until the stand is complete and they see success on the field then people just won't believe we can get there.

One great performance against cas is not suddenly going to bring in 1000 extra supporters. If you thought it would then you were dreaming. Halifax have a good home support and one of the best away supports in this league. With a league and cup double this year then i think we can hit the figures we need to be considered for super league from next season. That will give us a season and a half to hit the numbers each week then before the june 2011 decision.

Yer I was a bit disappointed but come on there were 20 Sheffield fans and a lot of the newer fans that travelled down to Cas I bet gave yesterday a miss. Look at the crowd at Fev! Look at the crowd at Odslum, way down on their highs of years ago. It was naff day too.
I still believe the new stand will give us that 'feel good' factor when coming down the Shay and make it a good experience, its still not a great stadium really at the mo lets be honest but it will be come next season.

The club need to go for people who are not fans of the club, market in the town centre using the players, get the free kids tickets out with them on the Woolshops, at the Bowling alley and the swimming pool where kids go.
Have a stall in toen one Saturday, get in peoples faces don't aim for the usual suspects the amateur clubs and existing fans.
