Lets be glad they lasted the duration of the game, when Barrow played Blackpool last season wasn't the game abandoned and stadium evacuated after a fire in the fusebox room?
I agree with every thing said about the lights but surely the ref should have done something about the players kit. It was extremely difficult to distinquish players/team in certain areas on the field and having seen photos in the Courier I could not not believe it as whilst Barrow were in all blue their shorts and socks were dark blue. The ref could not do anything about the lights but surely he could see how similar kits we were each playing in. Why not at least get one team to change to white shorts. We might have had a better chance of seeing what turned out to be a great contest.
I think the rugby league need to get a message to refs to ensure spectators and in fact players are able to make out who is who.
