Quote the fax in asia="the fax in asia"On the face of it a great signing, however it does throw up some points of interest.
Obviously AT has proved his worth and has been unlucky with previous club choices, one not of his making, the latter if correct making way for an alleged better player. However one has to ask, if fax were the bottom of the paying scale what has driven him to sign again, has he been promised continued game time to put himself in the shop window again?
The other question for me is where do fax keep finding the money? He won’t have come cheap, or is their a benefactor we do not know about who has deeper pockets than the current BoD.
Do not get me wrong I would rather he play for than against, and hope he does damage in the best way by scoring points and helping the Panthers upwards .'"
Sometimes money is not the most important aspect for a player. I would imagine this is the case here and I don't think his reason for leaving was ever about money but more to try and better himself and test himself at higher levels.
Money wise there is an interview on Youtube with Ian Croad and if I remember rightly he says that we had done very well money wise with the current squad and there wwere money still available to bring in new players. If we think about it logically we have got rid of a lot of players who have been here a number of years and I doubt they signed reduced contracts every other year so that probably freed up more money than the current players cost. We have what looks like a pretty good squad and are starting to add some strength in depth so lets see what them and Simon Grix has got.
