How come this has been switched to an away fixture?

Are we struggling to find somewhere to hold the games?

I hope the corresponding Sheffield and Oldham away games get switched to home games, when the footballers have finished for the season.

I fail to see why it should have to be switched AGAIN. We didn't have a home first team game last week or this, if we had then fair enough. The football club play around twice as many games on the pitch as we do anyway (for the same rent?)

I went to the first couple but i'm not getting messed about, I have to arrange cover for my little lad but at home i will take him with me, Too young to keep the attention span for that long. SL application, Yeah we have got a under 23s team but can't seem to play them at home let alone any other youth teams in the future.

Whoever it is, Council, Halifax RLFC, Stadium Management, sort it out FFS. The only team we get to see win something so far and its always getting switched to away.

who is deciding upon these changes?

Mike rilley said before the franchise announcement how alot of stuff gets made on fans forums about the football and rugby dont get along and how there constantly not getting along. but he said the halifax u23s first 5 or 6 games will be played away while the football club finishes there season cos both clubs have agreed that the pitch isnt going to b able to take 3 different teams playing on it every week. So when the football season finishes the 23s will have about 5 home game on the trot

Always makes me smile when i read things like this. The groundsmen on Saville Park and places like do such a great job, oh wait.........

That makes sense as far as the pitch is concerned but it is the Halifax football fans that do not get on with the Halifax Rugby club.

doncaster rovers have just been told they cannot train on the pitch at the keepmoat as would be unfair to doncaster rugby team.

so it's not exclusive to Halifax then
