The club are proud to announce they have appointed three of their open age members roles on the clubs committee.
The Cavaliers Committee met recently to discuss new roles for the 2011 season and the club were looking for a full time Head Coach, an Entertainments Officer and a Recruitment Officer. The club have now been successful in appointing people internally and they have now started to settle into their new roles.

Kev Mason, an experienced and respected member of the open age squad has stepped forward and will fill the role of Head Coach for the 2011, 2012, 2013 seasons. The appointment of Mason will be welcomed by all as he is a natural leader which has been seen on the field in recent years. He is now looking forward to moving his way through the coaching qualifications with the club and I'm sure all will agree that it is a step in the right direction for the club.

Stewart Hannah, another experienced member of the squad has been appointed the clubs new Entertainments Officer. This has been neglected in recent seasons as previous people appointed with this role have failed to show the sort of commitment the club expect.

Finally, players player and donkey of the year 2010, Jack Briggs has stepped into the role of Recruitment Officers and is currently working on a calender of events to promote the club. The club feel that Briggs will be the right man to organise events that will send out the right message about the Cavaliers and hopefully in turn will be able to recruit not only players, but potential volunteers, supporters and sponsors.

The future of the club is looking bright and the new committee is now beginning to become stable with everyone pulling in the same direction.
