..and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat and yeah though all was sopping wet God did send Noah this link:

I once asked a religious buffoon I worked with how did the ark fit all of the millions of different species of animal, insect, etc on the ark, I was going to follow it up with why didn't they eat one another until he said "it was REALLY big" I didn't bother with the follow up.

| That's maybe one for the question thread but
How big would an Ark have to be to hold 2 of each known living thing right this minute?

| Quote Sheldon="Sheldon"REALLY big

It's estimated that there are 8.7 million species on earth, so it creates a large problem for creationists. Often creationists claim that arthropods and other similar creatures etc were not on the ark which will have saved some room, however it is never fully exlplained how such creatures could have survived.
Creationists also regularly claim that it was not two of every species but rather two of every "kind" and they narrow this down to around 16,000 "kinds" of animal which were on the ark, ho wever creationists have been unable to provide a robust biological definition of the term "kinds". This claim also supposes that all of the species ( not including species of fish, insects etc) we have today evolved from these 16,000 kinds in a mere 4,000 years, which is hilarious given that these same individuals reject the evolution of humans and chimps from a common ancestor which existed around 7 million years ago.

The problem with this type of question - and I loathe to resort to what some would label a Goddidit answer - us that it requires the supreme creator of the universe to be bound by the physical world.
If you can get your head around God creating the world, it is not hard at all to imagine an omnipotent deity solving such conundrums.

| If you to play with that sort of logic, then the same god created the world to include the worm that eats a child's eye.
Of course, being god, he could have created the world so that no such thing existed. But then again, your god is a murdering, cruel one.

That your nasty smug arrogance is based on a story book doesn't make it any less nasty or smug.
