Yeah, my allowance is typically 500MB. They told me I get 3 months unlimited, but at around 450MB they told me I'm near my limit.

Currently got the IPhone 4s on contract with Orange. I get a 1gb of internet with my tariff. But what I want to know is that I'm going to Prague tomorrow for the weekend and will it cost me to make calls, text and use my interent while overseas?

Easy answer is ask Orange how much it will cost you because it will cost you.

Certainly will, or at least it cost me to use my Orange Blackberry in Greece last summer, ring them & they will tell you in very simple terms and then text you all the details so you don't forget when you're sat in a bar in Prague at daft o'clock and decide to ring some random mate back home.

The calls and texts weren't actually that expensive (didn't bother with internet) but then again I'm a bloke so only used it to ring home and say "Everything ok ?" then hang up.

Why not pretend that there's no mobile coverage in Prague and leave your phone at home?

I don't give a sheet if it's a day, weekend or a month in Prague. I asked a simple question and yet again you don't give a reply to what I asked about.
But most people are used to that when your online.

Even if you've got data inclusive on your'e deal it's only inclusive in the uk so any data used abroad will be at £3 a mb if you take say my O2 contract. You get a text fromO2 if you go past £20 saying you've past the half way point of the £40 limit. They state they will only ever charge you upto £40. I don't know if they cut you off after this limit though the wording suggests they allow data usage after the £40 and you don't get charged for it! If the bar/hotel has free wifi turn off roaming and use that!

Ring the network and see what they say. I went away with my 3 phone the other month and they said I could have data usage for UK prices and that's what they charged me.

Back in sunny England/Hull now (in comparison to Prague -25 degrees). Only used the phone to call home when I needed to, so shouldn't of ran up too much of a bill. Thanks to everyone who replied with the intent to help.

Has anyone used/can anyone recommend any of the online unlocking services? I've got a Nokia 6700 locked to T-Mobile I want to use as my travelling phone but I'm being quoted £25 by the unlocking place near my office which seems a bit steep.

Can't/won't T-Mobile do it? If not it looks like £10 gets you a code on eBay.

The contract ended a year or so ago, I didn't think to ask for it at the time - I rang T-Mobile about it the other day and they said they couldn't help because the account isn't active, which doesn't sound right to me but I know nothing about these things.
