| The initial defence will be regarding “how they can receive a fair trial”. They will almost certainly quote the amount of coverage received.

| Barry Gardiner, only 3 days ago, published a letter to his constituents in which he went full angry lefty, criticising Dominic Cummings, condemning everyone this way and that, telling them how sickened he was and that "I dislike Mr Cummings politics, I deprecate his behaviour, I think his excuses are flimsy and unsubstantiated and I share the widespread outrage at the Prime Minister’s support for this man’s actions". A bitter attack over lockdown and social distancing.
Barry Gardiner yesterday, went maximum hypocrite and joined a BLM march in which police officers were attacked and property vandalised, proudly tweeting at how he was rlbreaking social distancing rules.rl
Barry Gardiner has since rldeleted the letter to his constituents.rl It can only be found in rlGoogle's search cache.rl
I've been looking for the left screaming for him to resign but I must have missed it.

| What about the member for the 16th century who insists on only those MP’s in Parliament be allowed to vote when he was photographed standing well within the 2 meters rule. We can also add a regular rule breaker Boris who after if usual PMQ’s embarrassment was seen standing next to a Conservative whip discussing something.

Yep, many minor breaches going on at the HoP, on all sides. But the silence from the left after yet another Labour MP going out doing as they please has been deafening throughout. And this one joined a densely packed crowd of thousands. A crowd that vandalised property including memorials, and attacked the police.
"But yeah but no but Dominic Cummings..."

| He was reprimanded by the party, whilst Cummings was protected at all costs even at the expense of the party and the public.
I told you your user name was selected incorrectly because you chose the son whilst most of what you post sounds like it comes from his father.

| Who cares who's doing what anymore? Lockdown has well and truly entered the joke phase since its slow disintegration from VE Day. I've been taking it as serious as anyone since mid March, but I'm doing what I please now.
There's talk of 'air bridges' so we can fly to Portugal, but we can't even go in our family and friends' houses in the next town!!! Old Boris loves a good bridge.

Ghost of 99 jumps in where he's made zero prior meaningful contribution and clearly has zero understanding of prior conversation on these matters.
If I'd avoided any discussion on Dominic Cummings you might have a point. I haven't, and you don't.
As you were. Bye bye now.

Bringing back physical voting in the HoP is just plain daft.
Yes, there are historical constitutional rules and tradition is great but, we are in unprecedented times and to have MP's, those supposedly running the country, travelling 100's of miles in order to cast their vote in person, shows how badly informed and out of tough some of our government really are.
Rees-Mogg and his cronies should be really proud of themselves
As for the protests, there are many that argue that protesting was more impotent than the virus but, you're right about the social distancing which, lets face it, has all but disappeared, apart from the local supermarket.
I wonder when and where it all changed and who may have been the rule breaking catalyst ??
Everything seems to have gone pear shaped since DC went on his jolly up and although you decided to "draw a line" under the issue, many others just thought feck it, "if HE can please himself then I will too"

icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.:icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg |

I don't think it has anything to do with DC - the chances of getting/dying from this virus are so infinitesimal that the population are quite rightly saying the means simply doesn't justify the ends. How many victims have been white under 50's? It is so small it would need several zeros after the decimal point - how can lockdown be justified for millions given the current infection/death rate?
Also more people are going back to work and they see the death/infection rate stabilise despite greater freedoms - so why should the lockdown continue - even if there is a spike how big will the spike be even if its bigger than the last the death profile will no doubt be the same so for 99% of the population the impact will be none.
This let's wait for a virus - it might never come so do we stay in lockdown forever?
