Me too as I only live a few miles away.
At £35 for a ticket you can't beat it for value. James were worth the admission price on their own last year.
I'm off to see Friday night at Leeds this year. Can't wait to see how good Muse are live.

54062_1294991734.gif RLFans finest:
[quote="Saint77777":3t42372l]Maguire was a black mark on RL in this country. Whilst coaches like Daniel Anderson and Brian McLennan won championships on the back of exciting Rugby league, Maguire set out to win at all costs, evident by the way Danny Maguire was seriously injured and laughed at on the floor by the wigan players as he writhed in agony. Then there has been the constant bending back of limbs, trying to seriously maim the opposition. Even Phil Clarke has jumped on the bandwagon with his disgusting comments about the Danny Maguire incident.
I think its fitting that the 2 fairest teams in the comp, who have been on the receiving end of Wigans tactics should contest the Grand Final and make it a proper family day out instead of the knuckle dragging, salivating neanderthals from Wigan, that would pour into manchester on grand final day.
I for one cant wait to mingle with the Leeds fans and have a beer with them, rather than having to watch my arms and legs, should wigan have got there.[/quote:3t42372l]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_54062.gif |

| Kerrang awards last night, bit of a joke really:
BEST BRITISH NEWCOMER
Asking Alexandria - Much better bands out there.
BEST INTERNATIONAL NEWCOMER
Black Veil Brides - They are the most horrible band I have ever heard. Sums up Kerrangs audience.
THE DEVOTION AWARD SPONSORED BY RELENTLESS ENERGY DRINK
Skindred - Can't complain too much.
BEST SINGLE (PRESENTED BY KERRANG! RADIO)
30 Seconds To Mars - Hurricane - Don't know this
BEST VIDEO (PRESENTED BY KERRANG! TV)
My Chemical Romance - Na Na Na - See response to BVB
CLASSIC SONGWRITER (PRESENTED BY ZIPPO)
Biffy Clyro - Classic songwriter? Really? Thy're good but come on.
BEST ALBUM (PRESENTED BY YOUNG MINDS)
Bring Me The Horizon - There Is A Hell... - See BVB
BEST LIVE (PRESENTED BY DOWNLOAD)
All Time Low - I don't know what I find worse about this. That ATL were nominated, or that they won.
BEST BRITISH BAND (PRESENTED BY RISING RECORDS)
You Me At Six - And Iron Maiden weren't even nominated why?
BEST INTERNATIONAL BAND (PRESENTED BY RUSSIAN STANDARD VODKA)
30 Seconds To Mars - Better choices out there, however could've done worse.
KERRANG! LEGEND
Ozzy Osbourne - One of three fair awards.
KERRANG! HALL OF FAME
Korn - Second fair award.
KERRANG! INSPIRATION (PRESENTED BY HMV)
Def Leppard - Again, better choices around.
KERRANG! ICON (PRESENTED BY ORANGE AMPS)
Alice Cooper - Good decision.

[size I take it that it was a three-way tie for 'the most horrible band I have ever heard'. [/size

I meant the last part, sums up Kerrangs audience. I actually don't mind MCR or BMTH, but they never should've won the awards.

| Stop worrying about awards ... just enjoy the music you like ... it really doesn't matter that much what anyone else thinks.

| I went to see Milk Maid last night. Formed by the bass player from Nine Black Alps, there were echoes of them in there but I was hearing bits of the Cribs, Teenage Fanclub and Pavement. I liked them.

| Is there a correlation between RL fans and fans of Heavy metal?
More of a Rock n Roll/Indie man myself but I feel like if I rocked up to an event with you guys I'd be expected to show up in chains and a studded collar!

Worth it just for the monkeys!
If they're anything like they were on Saturday (and you can bank that they will be) you're in for a treat!

Already got my tickets for the arena tour in Nov, and I'm well excited.
Saw them on the NME new music tour at the beginning (when, on the night of the show, they were promoted above a wazzed off Maximo Park on the strength of 'Dancefloor's success), then again at Blackpool's Winter Gardens on the strength of their 2nd album if I remember rightly.
Humbug is forgettable, but the new album is great and, if reviews are to be believed, they're back on top form for the live shows.
Bit disappointed that the Vaccines have been chosen for support, but there's always the bar...
That Hurricane fest is some line up though.

Just ordered for MEN. Not a big fan of the place but we had Ticketmaster vouchers we'd won so it seemed good use of them. As for The Vaccines - I didn't like the album at all at first but I have to admit it's grown on me and I'm quite looking forward to seeing them. On the plus side for you, they only play about half an hour

| Struggled for a while for tickets this morning eventually got them for Newcastle.
It will be the third time I've seen them, after Saturday and in 2007 after FWN was released. Saturday was the best gig I've ever been too so I'm hoping for more fireworks on November 5th. (See what I did there?)
As for the Vaccines, they have some decent songs but they are awful live! I'd much prefer a smaller band like Mabel Love, who supported on Saturday and were very good, to get the chance.
