Well, if you're not interested in whizz-bang features, I believe OpenOffice has a pdf import functionality that lets you perform basic edits on pdf documents.
So it looks like CutePDF can be beaten on both features [iand[/i price. |

I'd approach it with caution - I can't imagine it's particularly powerful or reliable, but there again I've never used it myself.
I can imagine mangling can easily result in the output pdf. |

I use CutePDF for outputting, no problems.
Adobe on the other hand is a bloated POS.

right, finally invested in a new laptop, I've got Norton AV on it (because I had a three PC liscence with a space on it), anything else I should be running to keep it safe and running at optimum speed?
(and don't say linux or other such stuff as it isn't viable for me)

My mate has a nasty virus, one of those download this or it restarts his comp. He says he's tries malware bytes with the CPU offline but has had no luck. Any other ways of getting rid?

You need an anti virus program, Malware Bytes only sorts trojans and other nasties like that. |
