Black people are over represented in huge numbers in all sorts af areas which indicate discrimination in this country.

As for your second point about equivalence I am not sure I understand it.
I made the point that Boris and other right wingers like Laurence Fox are creating this debate in an attempt to distract ( and attract white racist supporters ) from their attempts to curb democracy and make damaging changes to the NHS which is what led to social change in the Uk after WW2. |

There are 60million+ people in the country. There is a statistically tiny number of these incidents.

I havnt the time or inclination to go and find loads of alternative arguments to what you lot are putting forward.
I do however feel sorry for Mr Giant that he has to troll through all kinds of individual accounts to make point.
Why would you call me Whitey you dont know who I am is that not a tad racist,I am equal to and everyone is equal to me.
So please stop spouting your crap as that is what it is just to make a pathetic point of which I could do the same.
It is wrong to be racist,it is wrong to shut people down,it is wrong to cancell folk ,it is wrong to think that if people have different views means they are racist they are not, they just think you are a fool and you cause more division with your views and negative thoughts against whites. As a side issue my wife was a theatre nurse and when a african nurse started she thought she had to sit in a different canteen and was surprised that whites and blacks and asians all sat together. not bad for a racist country.

You ought to read what is written I did not call you whitey I said that I bet black people are commented on by their colour more than you-are commented in respect of your colour .
How is that you transpose someone challenging racism against BAME communities is in some way anti white ?
That I believe is either you not understanding the point or deliberately trying to confuse it.
Did you watch the link I gave about 4 black Huddersfield Giants players talking about their experiences of racism in RL ?
That is an example of how Black players have a different experience to white players.
Pointing that out and challenging it is not anti white unless you are saying that anything that points out discrimination ad racism is anti white ? |

You need to read your own statistics. According to that website Asians account for 8% of population but only 3% of deaths. Do the police really like Asians? People enter police custody in all kinds of states and die for a variety of tragic reasons. Each is investigated independently. There's just no evidence of what you're suggesting and nobody is defending the EDL.

I did not quote any statistics for Asians .
If you don’t like the statistics take it up with the government who provide the statistics,
The comments about the EDL were to illustrate the fact that people use racism as a way to manipulate how people think and vote to obscure other issues hence me comparing it to the Tories using woke culture etc to provide a smokescreen to other things that they are doing. the fact that this whole discussion is about race and not about the governments queens speech about what they are planning to do about democracy and the NHS illustrates that. |

You do realise that any white person defending this country is complicit in your idea of racism.
Its like we cannot be happy in our country any more without a fool bringing up something to complain or play the victim.
Did the idea of a nurse in the canteen not fit your rhetoric. as stated on more than one occasion racism is wrong on all levels. Labour are a crap political party no longer for the working class (of which I am one ) but would never vote for a party this badly run.I do think we need a party that can challenge the tories.

Prejudice exists in all forms of life and its abhorent but that prejudice is more a apparent across class and wealth than across race in this country. The heightened focus around BLM has (in my opinion) started to do more harm than good. We live in a country where there are circa 3% afro Caribbean decent and 8% Asian yet there push for equal representation is seeing (certainly on TV) people who are not really suited to the roles they are being given getting in them with a view it is just to meet a quota. I'd say TV has an anti ugly / anti fat bias, even the BAME representation is pretty and slim (unless they're meant to be funny) Footballers taking the knee to show a stand against racism in a sport that has no 'out' gay players is laughable.
Is it better to silence peoples views or let them be aired and let the public decide whether they agree, if not form an intelligent argument. At least that way we know who we're dealing with. Jobs should go to the best person for the job, not the whitest, blackest, prettiest or not as in most cases the wealthiest old school connection.
Back to Clubb, is he racist, probably not, he's probably just thick and used his heritage in no different a way to if he'd called him fat / big nose. Still deserves to get banned but not cancelled. |

yes I agree there are many forms of bias/prejudices in all forms not just to the minorities.
Yes also there are too many minorities on tv especially on ads this does not reflect the society we live in.

Why does it matter what colour someone’s skin is in an advert on TV ?
If for 60 years all adverts were white people and now some adverts have black people why does it matter ?
It is like those people who said they were going to boycott Sainsbury’s because their Xmas ad had a black family in it. Why ?
I just saw a family like mine , celebrating Xmas with Turkey and decorations and presents etc.
I know some people find this hard to understand but in my experience most black people are like me.
Working class, trying to have a better life for themselves and their children , doing the same things as you and me. Having the same colour blood so when I see them on TV it does not even register that there is something different about them representing Sainsbury’s shoppers like me .
