I'll not be signing the petition, I did go and look (which means I'm another 'unique visitor' that hasn't signed) and while I admire the emotive use of language there, anyone with half a brain (ie, twice as much as most of those who've signed it), it can be taken to pieces too easily to be a challenge.


I just feel sorry for you and others of your kin when you die and the lights go out for the last time, and you discover that there is nothing beyond. I'd hate to die being that disappointed.

I follow American politics to the extent that I enjoy The Daily Show, but we don't usually have people who are quite so deluded in this country. I suppose he's a perfect example of Poe's law.

I mentioned this earlier - but drag up any Mitt Romney speech from the past 5 weeks (more so after Obama said what most people think re: gay marriage) .. and it then becomes obvious a small proportion of the US is quite literally stuck in some weird homophobic loop..

It's actually quite scary. Easiest way to research this phenomenon is try and watch Fox news - priceless comedy.

You should, just once, for comedy value. I'd also recomened a couple of Al Franken Books ("Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat Idiot and Other Observations", and "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right"). The latter of which Fox sued over, not due to content, but to the use of "Fair and Balanced" that they had claimed to have copyright/trademark on.

Your comment about seafood has absolutely nothing to do with me, and I can give you 2 good reasons why this is so. Firstly, I presume you are referring to Mosaic law as laid down in Leviticus. In that case, you ought to know that that law only applied to Jews following the Exodus. That dispensation has now passed and we are currently under the law of grace. I am a Gentile, not a Jew. Even if I lived in ~3000BC this law would not apply to me.

Secondly, the New Testament (you know this was revealed later, right?) says that no foods are forbidden. Check out Paul's letters - all food is now clean.

I suggest you re-examine the scriptures before you make silly remarks like the one addressed above.
