It would seem not.

| Agreed - you have to give credit where it is due Corbyn engaged with younger people and he got them out to vote. The turnouts were extraordinary. He fought a brilliant campaign and you have to applaud his integrity.
Despite the worst campaign in living memory the Tories still won the popular vote and have c60 more seats than the Labour - imagine what the result would have been if say Boris or Hammond had fronted it rather than the wet fish that did!! Labour are only in the position they were in 2010 - so no great shakes really.

Even letting Boris, Hammond, Hunt etc contribute, with her at the helm promoting the Tory party policies rather than her running a singular presidential campaign. Shambolic.
Soft Brexit, No Jock independence and a soft border in NI all in 24 hours. Maybe not all bad

Agreed and you will see an increase in public spending - so again not all bad and the tax reductions to the high earners will disappear too

| New Tory leader, coming soon ?
The main issue now will be what effect running a coalition/minority government will have on our Brexit negotiations and if/when there will be another election (neither party can run a meaningful government for any length of time with the numbers as they are) and what further effect this will have on Brexit.
No deal is looking somewhat more likely.

Soft Brexit? With Jacob Rees Mogg and the DUP holding the balance of power, I wouldn't bank on it.
May was trying to sideline the nuttier elements of her own Party as well as deliver an electoral smackdown to Labour. zero from two on that.

| mrs may speaking outside Downing Street, never mentioned the disastrous election result. Very strange indeed, now forming a government with the dup. All well and good for her, but she needs to be more concerned with getting support from her back benches. She is obviously toxic now to the tories. Unlikely but one never knows ,would be Gerry Adams and his buddies taking seats in parliament. As they are pals with jezza and hate the dup ,if this occurs then the tories are finished.

| Laughable really. I imagine she'll be gone before the year is out. It's a certainty she won't be leading the Tories into the next election.
