| Quote: theearthisflat "... Ha with the moon question regarding Australia look up the word perspectives....'"
I am educated enough to actually understand the word "perspectives" without the need to look it up. And if I did, there would be nothing about the moon in any dictionary definition.
Anyway I didn't ask for a cryptic hint. I just want your basic, straightforward explanation.
If you have one.
My straightforward explanation is that due to the earth being a globe, "up" in the UK is a different direction to "up" in Australia as gravity pulls us in towards the centre of the earth. So, "up" is a subjective experience depending where on the globe I am.
What's yours?

Provide the pictures of curvature, I can guarantee a curve in the glass. No curvature in this one

Would that apply is Australia was on the bottom-side of a flat Earth of significant mass and the UK on the top-side?
The difficulty in the OP's assertion seems to me to come from what happens around the edges of the flat Earth?
