| Balls is going to Chips Away for a quick touch-up, rather than having his full bumper replaced.

| I liked the "Two Eds, no idea" spoof. Expect a lot more of this nonsense from all sides before the Boy David gets back through the doors of Number 10.....hopefully, without that cretin Clough in tow.

Nigel?
If you mean Clegg, I suspect he and his party are toast next time out. Mrs 28 was talking to a friend who lives in his constituency and the talk in some parts there (although I think it unlikely) is of him losing his deposit in 2015. Given that Hallam is supposedly one of the wealthiest constituencies in the country, that has been Lib Dem only since 1997, suggests it will go back to blue, which while abhorrent, would be a well deserved kick in the teeth for the Sell-out King

Milliband is unelectable though. The worst part is that Labour seem to have put everything on Ed...it's all about him and how he definitely isn't Tony Blair. There are plenty of people who are not Tony Blair, but that is not a concrete reason to make any of them Prime Minister.
Very depressing.

It was more a comment on the football supporter barracking than a comment on Ed.

Is Miliband that unelectable?
After 13 years of a Labour government, the tories should've stormed the last election. They didn't and needed a bunch of Quislings to get them into a position of power.
From what I have seen, Labour seem to be playing a more local game. I they've learned anything from YouPrik(sic), it is "forget spending big on advertising campaigns and get the message out on the doors". Labour, more than anyu other party, seem to be mobilising the troops and that might be just where they win it. On the doors instead of on the telly

| Whisper it quietly, but things do appear to be slowly getting better.
We seem to have restored the original 'pre-crash' position, and now it looks as though there is a real prospect of noticable growth over the next year.
Further, people are starting to realise that no matter how bad things might have been under the coalition, Ed Milliband is not the answer. 2 polls over the weekend, including one for the Guardian, had the Tories in the lead.
Support for UKIP will probably drop after the European elections, with most of their voters probably going back to the Tories. Could be very, very interesting in the run up to the next election. I think a Labour majority is by no means certain, and in the event of a hung Parliament, Davey boy gets first shot at putting a Government together. He could even 'go it alone' as a minority.

If he attempted that from a position of not having more seats than any other party, even his own side would lynch him

The trick would be to do it for 6 months, achieve very little and then blame it on Labour and the Lib Dems. Then call another election, in the hope of persuading the public to back a Conservative majority at the subsequent election.

| If anyone who works to make someone else rich at their expense votes Tory then IMO they need their bumps feeling.
However people do have the right to be dumb and stupid and there are those who vote like turkeys voting for christmas because they feel it makes them superior in some way and in touch with aristocracy.
If you vote Tory or don't vote at all and they do something that upsets you and causes you cash then realise leopards never change their spots and the tories are the party of the few at the expense of the rest.

Football supporter politics I'm afraid and Small Graeme will be along soon to tell you off.....
Oh no that's right he won't because it's only 'football supporter politics' when it is Anti Labour.
Unemployment down again, employment up again. Party of the many. Bitter Labour supporters proved clueless.
