Fully agree. The behaviour of the bystanders isn't normal. Who in their right mind would stand calmly and film a murderer who they've just witnessed hack and behead someone with machetes with the blood still dripping from his hands? You'd be scared less and terrifed of him, trembling and cowering, not standing calmly capturing the moment within arm's length of the psychopath surely? Those women protecting the victim from further attack while the police wait round the corner for twenty minutes, saying there's nothing they can do until armed back-up arrive? Wtf?
People mingling around the body that's just been separated from his head?? That they've just witnessed in the most horrific way first hand? Far from hanging around to socialise with the maniacs still present wouldn't any sane person have actually just run like hell?
Very, very strange.

| The attackers are sickening thugs, this has nothing to do with anything other than cold blooded murder. This scumbag mentions 'our lands' in a perfect London accent. I also cannot believe that people stood around filming it, has the digital revolution and the need to post every bit of cr@p on to some social media taken over from our sense of decency.
These scumbags should not ever see the light of day again, life should mean life in this case.

Muslims view "Islamic" terrorists the same way most Christians view the Westboro Baptist Church..

| I hate Islam but no more or less than all religion, why can't people keep their believes to themselves, what's the need to ram religious opinions down peoples throats?

IF god was/is real he must be sat there thinking WTF are you doing?

a couple of good bits of analysis from the Beeb.
www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-22624100
www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-22634095
in my mind there is a direct link between failures in policy towards Afghanistan and Iraq which directly have led to this situation.
By going into afghanistan and not dealing with the situation there quickly it created a festering sore. The then atack on Iraq which was unneccessary meant that the west took there eye of the ball and meant that they had lost any moral or political justification for remaining in afghanistan and dragging out an unwinnable war.
If the resources and time wasted on Iraq had been spent on afghanistan then the troops would have been home five years or more ago and the level of anger that we now see would not have been there which is the link drwan out in the second interview above.

The west getting embroiled in Syria also makes things worse.
www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2013/may/2 ... f-jihadist
it is clear that Western policy in Syria is creating instability and leading to radicalisation of many people. Syria is only important to the west because they want to undermine Iran and for no other reason.
That is going to make the situation in the middle East far more volatile for years to come and give Israel a free hand to carry on denying the Palestinians rights with a continued level of anger and frustration in the Muslim world.

Ah the old "what if it were you" line again - thats not how the law works you know, it works by standing back and taking a sensible overview and then applying a set of rules to each separate incident following a clearly defined procedure, its either that or we let some knuckleheads take to the streets to "defend" something that they can't really get their heads around to defining yet.

That ain't a perfect London accent. It's an accent in London from someone who is african. That geezer would be at a guess african raised in London. And looking at him, West African.

If I had my way he'd be strung up and dipped into a fire, up and down, to slowly burn alive jessie washington style.'"
It's easy to feel tht way as any decent human being should be feeling sick to the pit of their stomach at this. These people make my skin crawl but if we do that the Islamists have won. Because this is exactly how they want to live. The stupid thing is most of the young lads coming out with this crap and following hate preachers to carry our their murderous dirty work are too thick to realise this. Countries that operate sharia law stone people to death and torture people without trial but we in Britain do not too many people have died for our way of life."sorry your women had to see this" they have a real problem with women too. Quite frankly the Islamists have no argument they are pathetic plain and simple and while morons like these two are around there'll always be risks to our way of life.

As I said before, the filth that have all but destroyed our society are giving them victimhood status and it's all our fault! The BBC is infested by scum and should be shut down.

Well, Essex man was first to reject Labour and turn to Thatcher for the sake of the country. Maybe Essex man could be the saviour of the UK again?

You've fulfilled Saddened's prediction already!
Don't put the blame anywhere else but where it belongs: at the feet of the two terrorists. This has nothing to do with government policy, nothing whatsoever. It has to do with two individuals who have chosen to hate and take out their hate on an innocent man (who has now been confirmed as a member of the armed forces).
