Agree. Great film. Have avoided the Yankeeeee remake like the plague. Well, ok not that much, but I've no desire to watch it.
Been catching snippets of a film called 'One Day', apparently based on a book we should have all read, or we're not trendy? Have I missed something? Looks pretty rubbish anyway. No vampires, or robots.

They're doing a follow up which focuses on the Gatti Trilogy.

| The Inbetweeners movie is superb!
It's every bit as funny as the TV show and then some. The whole audience was in stitches and you could sense everyone cringeing at some parts of it. Although it stays true to the TV show (with some cracking throwback references to it) it actually has quite a bit of heart to it, and is decent as a stand alone story. A fitting climax to the Inbetweeners, farewell Neil, Jay, Simon and Will!
I can't recommend it highly enough though, I will be going again before long I reckon!

Saw them being interviewed at their London premiere (think it was last night).
The reporter asked the actor who plays Neil what they thought of the recent rioting and of the kids taking part in it.
He gave a really serious answer, saying how shocking it was, and you could see the other three on the verge of p!ssing theirselves.

| Have taken the kids to see Green Lantern and Captain America recently. Didn't mind either of them so long as you disengaged the brain and went along with it. Batman aside, DC comics' heroes are and always were rubbish though.

| C'mon, 'the power of will' behind the lantern? Superman for no apparent reason possessing uber powers requiring Kryptonite to make him vulnerable?
I suppose they're no more silly than Marvel's heroes, but when I was a kid Marvel was it as far as comics went.
Having said that, I did used to like Wonder Woman on TV when I was a kid. No idea why....
