Mine doesn't have a hdmi output so maybe thats why, it has 2 dvi outputs, one i use to connect to my tv with a cable that one end is dvi and the other hdmi. I read somewhere online that the 9600 gt doesnt support it but maybe they where wrong, but either way I haven't found a way to do it.

Ah that's the deal breaker, that's DVI and it definitely doesn't carry sound, even if the end that plugs into your TV is HDMI; the output is still DVI.
Any card with HDMI will do what you want (transfer sound and video). You can easily get a decent one for your needs for under £100, have a look on ebuyer.com (or their ebay page)

just having a look now, the radeon 6790 looks like the one so far. seems to compare reasonably well to the higher end cards as far as bench marks are compared too.

Are you talking about the links at the top of the page? advert links? links within posts..................... etc..... |

Noticed that on the forums I'm getting a pop up saying IE has blocked some content on this site, due to security certificate errors. Is it the site, or IE?
I'm guessing it's IE but I'm at work so using something else isn't an option

In my house i have 2 laptops, 1 pc 1 xbox 2 smartphones and a dlna tv.
Can anyone recommend a wifi router (cable or adsl) that will let me stream hd movies over a home network?

Any router will be able to cope with that, I presume you mean wireless router.
Look for a decent name and 802.11n. |
