Ruby Sparks..... I enjoyed it, was a good concept for a film and was very well acted....Was definitely not your average rom-com and it certainly gave its viewer plenty to think about both during and after the film..... The ending in some ways was a bit of a cop-out, but if you interpreted the story in a particular way, then it was a logical 'Hollywood' ending.

Good spot. His new film got good buzz at Venice and Toronto, [iSomething In The Air[/i. If you like [iCarlos[/i, I can recommend [iTerror's Advocate[/i about Carlos The Jackal's lawyer. I'd say it's probably even better than [iCarlos[/i. It's available on Google videos in two parts.

If you're interested in him then you might find this interesting as well [irlThe Trails of Norman Finkelsteinrl[/i. He had a run in with Dershowitz a few years back that's on YT - Finkelstein versus Dershowitz Part 1. Finkelstein isn't to everybody's cup of tea but I've yet to see somebody who has as good a grasp of the issues holding back progress with Israel and Palestine.

Dershowitz doesn't seem to enjoy the plagiarism accusation.
I see in another clip that Noam Chomsky is equally as dismissive of Dershowitz and highly critical of Israels position.

Watched Lumet's last film yesterday not realising Albert Finney was in it.
I met him many years ago when I was a young buck, in a tailors in Fulham, (Majors) but that's another story.

Just been to see Skyfall......the best of Daniel Craigs bonds so far and argubaly the best of all time.Had a trailer for Oneshot,the Jack Reacher Novel,how the hell they can cast a 5ft midget as Reacher is beyond me.

Certainly the best Daniel Craig Bond flick. I'd say it has the greatest Bond villain ever in it. Javier Bardem puts in an outstanding performance.

Films iv seen recently:

Looper - wasnt too sure what it was about and didnt go to the cinema intending to watch it, but actually enjoyed it and thought it was a pretty good film.

sinister - compared to other 'horror' films iv seen at the cinema i thought it was good, a little creepy and jumpy but kept me on the edge of my seat more than the likes of paranormal activity does, decent film.

Skyfall - brilliant film. definately the best craig film and is the best bond film iv seen, was such a great film.

i havent seen taken 2 yet which i want to, thought the first one was fantastic but have heard mixed comments about the new one, anybody seen it ?
