Ive just found out ive got 3D on my Sharp Aquos telly,but ive been searching everywhere online to find out if i need passive or active glasses to view it, without luck.Ive got Sky HD and the screen shows the same picture on the left and right,not blurred,i dont know if thats any help.Or does it not matter what type i get? My laptop fan just started running really loud. My laptop wasn't hot, it was quite cool and I only had FM12 running, then suddenly my laptop switches off. I turned it back on and the fan is now quiet, any reasons? I assumed overheating, but the air coming out of the sides was cool and the laptop in general felt normal.

Hyper V Host has shut itself down 3 times in the last month for no apparent reason with the above. No hardware updates or driver updates have been made , just goes off randomly

A graphics problem 9 times out of 10, drivers or a failing card.

ok, just wondering if anyone has a clue about this one...
tried listening to two cd's on my laptop tonight, both fairly new and from the same artist/label.
when i put the cd into my laptop and look on the D: drive, all the tracks are there but just listed as track 1, track 2 etc, and 1kb in size.
why is this and is there any way around it?


also, had my mother on the phone saying the PC has packed in. she pushed the button and it was a fair bit noisier, and all that showed up on the screen was a 'no signal' message. anyone seen anything like that before?

Perfectly normal, any audio player like WinAmp will play the CD as normal.




The monitor isn't getting any video from the PC, it could be anything.
