I don’t know. That seems like a poor option, as do the others. We’re a bit screwed every which way. I don’t have a particular turd preference, but happily I don’t have to choose. These guys do... and they fully deserve the responsibility.

If they follow the usual playbook they will try to focus on life after Brexit than what it was whilst we were members. It worked with the election where Johnson distanced himself from the previous 10 years of conservative rule. He is doing the same with the virus where past failures are either the Doctor’s fault regarding care home transfers, the scientists for stopping the testing regime and local councils for failing the same care homes.
He wants to concentrate on the now once again trying to persuade the country that they had no involvement in any of the mistakes.

Care homes are private businesses - 60% of which have had no Covid cases at all - they charge each customer plenty the least they could have done is isolate those coming back from hospital and provide their staff with sufficient/appropriate PPE.

The PPE was taken by the government for the NHS and care homes can isolate an individual if they know when they transfer from an hospital that they had the virus unfortunately this information was not readily available. The other is that without full PPE the careers could not be certain that they could not catch or spread the virus.
Let us not forget that Johnson stated he had a plan ready to go for social care I wonder what happened to that or could it be he was just making it up.

I just hope that his plan was better than his roadmap.

No because you aren’t capable of reasoned thought if you were you like the many would realise what a mess the government have made with regards the handling of the pandemic. What do we have today, the application of a quarantine period when the majority of the world did the same several months ago. The reason we don’t want to increase the r rate despite the fact that other than the USA and Brazil we have the highest numbers. What happened to France last week Johnson stated you could enter through this country a week later it is changed without any explanation. I wonder if he lied to them as well.
I wonder if the ban will include those entering by private jets and why the 08th June and not now. You may not like the chief executive of Ryanair but how do they get from the airport to their place of isolation, social distance walking because surely travel on any other form would increase the chance of passing on an infection.

What about Cummings going on a little jaunt after supposedly self isolating. I doubt Corbyn would have gone around shaking people’s hand and boasting about it when he knew the virus was about.
I am afraid you are becoming a little bitter because all you have is the reference to the IRA which is now old news, try to explain the government’s actions rather than making the usual it would be worse under Labour. We have the third largest number of dead only being behind the other two stable leaders of the USA and Brazil, why is that ?.

Always the same, I have not said it would be worse under a defunct proven failed ideaology, you haven't said how it would be better... but keep digging that hole, maybe you can line it with sack cloth and ashes and a few stars of david. The government are doing the very best they can, all you can do is snipe and say it's all bad, thank fook you are fewer and fewer in number as people see that the MAJORITY of people are pulling together and doing their VERY BEST. as well.
