Amazon are a bit cheaper, good reviews on this model, read reviews for a couple of tips, i.e only hold pairing button for between 3 and 8 seconds.

| Quote sir adrian morley="sir adrian morley"How do I know what I should deslect - when I followed your instructions, I have a few listed there - one of which is my antivrus Bullguard (which I will know I use so will de select it) but unsure of the others listed. two of them listed are 'soundman' and 'aol dial' sorry I am not very techy, when it somes to the workings of a computer.
thanks'"
Keep your anti virus selected, soundman is your soundcard so select that too, if you use AOL as your ISP then keep AOL Dial, most other stuff you can just start when you need it.

| Just tick bullguard and soundman for now, see how you go.
Any of those services will start as you need them rather than run in the background all the time.

Just to be clear, once plugged in and paired these will extend the range of my wireless connectivity? Sorry to sound like a technophobe but I'm a little uncertain as to what they do now!

No. Those will use your power cables to extend your network, plug one into a power point close to your router, run a network cable to it then plug the other anywhere you want a network connection, plug a network cable into that and your laptop/PC and away you go. You could then plug another wireless router into the second socket but I've not seen it done without a whole heap of pain.

No, not wireless connectivity, but as BG says, connect by cable as in pic below. You can get wireless ones but a bit more expensive.

I get you now. I think a wireless option is probably better as it is for use with iPhones and iPad. Something like [url=http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00472MMC6/ref=cm_cr_asin_lnkthis[/url perhaps?

Yes, that advertises* what you want.
*I only say advertises as I haven't used them personally but I've no reason to think they won't work. I have used the wired ones and to be honest, they're what I'd go with, with a wireless access point at the the other end to get the same result.

| So I have a bit of money to spend after christmas and I was thinking about getting a new iPod touch or an iPad. I already have a 3rd generation iPod touch which I've had for 2 years, but it's only 8gb and I could do with more memory. I'm a bit wary about buying a 4th generation as it's a lot of money for a small upgrade, but after looking around it seems as if there may never be a 5th generation touch, let alone anytime soon. So this led me to looking at ipads. Does anyone own an iPad and have any feedback and also does anyone have any idea of when a iPad 3 will come out and how it'll be an improvement on the 2nd.
