Well you asked for a report so here it is.

I announced my arrival on the stage by shouting ‘hey up Yorkshire’. It broke the ice and laid the platform for what some considered the best speech of the night. I had several cheers throughout my speech which means I must have said something amazing. That or someone was pulling funny faces behind my back. I guess it was the former rather than the latter.

I met my future business partner and shall be meeting her again on Wednesday to discuss things further. So all is good!

Just bear in mind that it won't work on all audiences, your bank manager won't be all that impressed if you kick his door open and yell "Ey up Yorkshire" at him, but well done anyway.

Sounds like it went well young Damo. Well done! From what you have said of late you have done some good and difficult things. Keep up the momentum and I believe you can go far.
