Quote: IR80 "And you, of course, have evidence that a SINGLE death can be attributed to Boris... no, of course you don't, you are typical of all the left wing stagers on here, full of hate and envy of ANYTHING remotely other than rampant socialism.'"

What kind of evidence are you after?

He allowed events like Cheltenham and the Liverpool/Althetic Madrid match to go head after the virus had entered the country.

Failed to lockdown the country in a timely manner. Failed to implement any kind of actual lockdown full stop.

Quite frankly, if you voted Tory you have the same blood on yo ur hands as Boris does!

Assuming your old enough to vote, did you vote on brexit?

Here we go again with ridiculous comments.

I presume then in your Socialist utopia everyone that voted Labour in 1997 & 2001 election has blood on their hands as Tony Blair does.

They can't help it, too stuck in the 70's and 80's (or30's and 40's judging by some of them) they cannot handle the facts so they use hindsight all the time, what it does is explain why RL has never developed (meaningfully) outside the parochial politics of the majority of it's supporters. Reading this board is similar to the blokes shouting in the streets with banners about how the Conservative party are destroying the NHs, how BA should be keeping all their staff even though their business is down 90%, how the furlough scheme should be extended (forever!). They have no grasp on reality, all they see is there myopic little corner of the world, and the view of themselves and the view of people they gravitate towards, they have as much of a world view as a hermit crab. (there are, I admit, exceptions who are capable of debate, but they are few in number)

How did the expansion into Toronto go and how do you think their demise reflects on rugby league in general.

Depends if you judge it on hindsight and coronavirus scuppering them playing at home? (but we know your relationship with facts is about as close as Piers Morgan and Lord Sugar)

have you walked the whippet yet?

Ah yes hindsight the last refuge of the failings government supporter. The truth is we had two weeks notice of the virus impact but as per usual Johnson was slow to react believing herd immunity was the way to go, so let’s go racing, watching football and shaking hands with possible carriers. This takes dumb to an whole new level even for Johnson, but why worry he has prepared a whole load of scapegoats ready to blame.

wow, the yelping has become whining...

Whataboutism, also known as whataboutery, is a variant of the tu quoque logical fallacy that attempts to discredit an opponent's position by charging them with hypocrisy without directly refuting or disproving their argument. Whataboutism is particularly associated with Soviet and Russian propaganda.

Last attempt to explain facts, Italy warned us about the virus and what did we do nothing. This is not what about it is a fact and one that Johnson and apparently his supporters wish to remove from history.
I believe you are a prime example of one who suffers from ostrich syndrome like many who follow comrade Johnson. I bet you believe that the Russian report was not sat on by Johnson and that it proves Russia did not get involved with the election or two referendums because no proof was provided. The reason being was that Johnson did not want to investigate because a large chunk of funding would dry up, especially if a £12,000 donation can save you and deprive an area of £45,000,000. I bet the wife of the Russian oligarch is gutted she paid over £100,000 for a game of tennis with Johnson.

We can't change what we didn't do when warned by Italy, I agree, it was a mistake. The rest is just more socialost bull541t from you. (and no, social-lost isn't a typo)

No we can’t change but if he had not ignored the warnings for two weeks and pursued herd immunity we would have a lower death rate.

IF we hadn't sexed up the wmd report, hadn't invaded Iraq, annoyed ISIS, sold gold at the bottom of the market, hadn't believed Hitler was capable of peace, hadn't made cows canibals etc etc etc. The world is full of IF, you can't continue to beat someone with the same stick, not even if you are Mr Punch and you are hitting the crocodile!

As Kipling wrote...

If you can keep your head when all about you

    Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,

    But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,

    Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,

Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,

    And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;

    If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;

If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster

    And treat those two impostors just the same;

If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken

    Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,

Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,

    And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings

    And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,

And lose, and start again at your beginnings

    And never breathe a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew

    To serve your turn long after they are gone,

And so hold on when there is nothing in you

    Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,

    Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,

If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,

    If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute

    With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,

Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,

    And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.:icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg

You are a desperate man - there were 3000 Madrid fans at that games - there 20,000 people a day coming into the UK from Spain - many coming back home?

Any body seen this from a student nurse adressed to Boris Johnson. It is a very perceptive and alarming point of view from student nurses themselves.

Rise like Lions after slumber In unvanquishable number-- Shake your chains to earth like dew Which in sleep had fallen on you-- Ye are many -- they are few.' Percy Bysshe Shelley - 'The Mask of Anarchy' ' ITS OVER' - Roy Orbison:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_76569.png

Look it’s very simple- and I’ll put it in terms that even the thickest former Red Wall , new Tory voter can understand. The Tories hate the NHS for two reasons.
One, it is socialism in action- everyone pays in a little to get help , or so others can get help when they need it.
Two, as a nationalised service, the Tories cannot make money out of it. God knows they’ve been trying for as long as I can remember with their creeping privatisation programme. Jeremy Hunt ( remember him?) even said as Health Secretary that he favoured the NHS ( or NSS National Sickness Service as he called it) to be run along the lines of the American Kaiser Permanente system.
With an 80 seat majority this is the best chance the Tories have had in decades to dismantle the NHS, most likely as part of a Post Brexit trade deal with the USA.

Still, never mind, at least we got Brexit done and took back control former Red Wallers eh? So either start saving your money or start praying you don’t get sick!
