What is the point of going to see the Hollywood remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo ? There is no chance on this world that it will be as good as the original.

watched rise of the planet of the apes last night. thought it was brilliant.

Just got round to watching super 8. Didn't expect much but I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it. What happened at the end was no surprise whatsoever but overall a good film with some great suspense leading upto what "it" actually is.

Submarine would be my film of the year. British Cinema at it's best, well written, nicely shot and good acting from a cast of relative unknowns. Great original soundtrack.
