1990s that one sir. As for [iSpirited Away[/i, Studio Gibli doesn't really do anything for me. Manga I'm getting a bit more into but the Gibli stuff I can't get into.

What I've noticed with the Ghibli films is they've been nowhere near as good since Disney bought them out and their films seem to be more aimed towards the American market. Spirited Away was probably the last really great one they made and became the first Japanese film to win an Oscar. Tales From Earthsea wasn't bad but not in the same league as earlier ones like Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle and my personal favourite Porco Rosso.

I love both [iSpirited Away[/i and [iHowl's Moving Castle[/i. My teenage daughter likes HMC so much she has the books, soundtrack, desktop wallpaper - you name it. |

I'm a big fan of the Ghibli films. I've got Porco Rosso, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle and Castle in the Sky on DVD. I've got one of the earlier ones, Castle of Cagliostro, on my laptop as well which I've seen before, but been meaning to watch again.
