I think that will be entirely up to Putin, as in if and where he wants to go next.

If Putin is just dipping his toe in the water with a view to moving further west ,i wonder just how many of our NATO allies would be any good in a scrap & how many would just roll over & play dead while the Ruskies walked across border after border ? The EU is another entity made up of many countries that had to be liberated by us ,the Yanks & the Russians after the aggression of the Third Reich.

We'll see, but I wouldn't completely write off Ukraine just yet, no doubt they would prefer to engage in an urban conflict than a rural one anyway. They've already inflicted more damage on Russia than Russia was expecting, so this could be where we start to see Ukraine give Russia a bloody nose. If the war gets drawn out and Russia suffer significant loses, then we may well see the Russian public finally turn on Putin

Trying to somehow live off the glory of the achievements of people who lived and died I'm guessing before you were born is really rather pathetic. As is some lazy, nationalistic assumption that citizens of other nations would surrender their countries more meekly than we would. Give your head a shake.

I'd say he'd try and regain Lithuania, Estonia, Belarus and Latvia to bring back the eastern block

Well Belarus are are already in Russia's pocket thanks to Putin's aid to that despot Lukashenko keeping the puppet leader in power against the wishes of the Belarusian people, as for the other 3 countries they are members of NATO and unlike The Ukraine would be under the protection of NATO, depends on how brave the thug is I suppose.
