Happily, anything that helps people to live their lives without being subsidised by someone else, I am all for people doing as they please with their own income, what es me off is those that think the world owes them something, we're all worth a % of what we contribute, spending hours a day bemoaning one's plight whilst typing on facebook/RLFans etc just arrogant and ignorant, in equal measure. IMHO.

Maybe another way of making some decent money could be closing every loophole people like Phil Green and Vodaphone use to avoid paying tax.

The biggest problem in the UK is the people on a free ride, you want something, GO OUT AND EARN IT.

What if we did and worked a full time job plus two part time jobs at the same time then became ill and couldn't earn "it" - no longer? Am I on a "free ride"?? I wouldn't call 96 quid a week a free ride either. You know Mr HWS works and we get absolutely nothing for "free". I used to take home over a grand a month, now I get just under £400 - oooohh I'm really on a free ride, aren't I???

You'd do better shouting at the MP's who are on a free ride with their duck houses and clean moats.

When you drive your car, did you pay for the roads that you drive on?

When you get on your aeroplane, did you pay for the building of the airport that you take off and land from?

The problem with people like Standee are they are simply selfish. As Cod'ead said Standee and even the mega-rich are reliant on the co-operative effort of the nation and of our forefathers. Standee et al deliberately (or perhaps via the sheer ignorance caused by having their heads up their own s for so much of their smug lives) ignore that.

Apart from the M6 Toll Road, all of the roads and most bridges, airports, railway stations, docks etc have all been built using anything other than private money. So unless you've paid for the above, you have certainly been subsidised by everyone else.
