| Not a good week for him on top of the badly received budget and the disastrous photo opp. And compared to some of the morons in the cabinet he is still an intellectual giant.

Infosys Ltd ?
His father in law owns a minority stake and his wife even less.
Many European and US firms own a much larger chunk and voting rights in Infosys than his father in law.
I believe Deutsche Bank have one of the largest European shareholding’s and voting rights.
What would you like him to do?
Divorce his wife/slag off his father in law?
His father in law doesn’t operate a business in Moscow,he is a shareholder in that business and a minority shareholder,Im not even sure he’s even on the board of directors anymore.

| His wife’s shares are worth about 400 million pounds, I guess the father in law’s are worth more. The question is why haven’t they divested themselves of these shares considering what her husband is requesting of others. I doubt he could have any impact on Deutsche Bank, they have enough trouble with one of their former client who I remember de Pffell idolised.

That moment when you find yourself pretending someone isn't the founder and chairman of a business you didn't have a clue about ten minutes before posting, all in your rush to defend the Tories.

So your point is he should force the little wife to sell her shares and while he's at it get her father to do the same?
Not sure if that's sexist or mysoginistic or both.

Unfortunately you're embarrassingly predicable when it comes to finding and regurgitating paper-thin talking points. Are you on the CCHQ mailing list or something?

| I presume those that have defended Sunak are happy that his wife has avoided paying tax by becoming a non dom which was her choice and nothing to do with her Indian citizenship. They both had green cards for the USA and now because we have been so good to her and the family she has decided to pay all her tax regardless of where it was earned in the U.K.. I wonder if it would have been the same outcome if not found out.
I see de Pfeffel believes he is doing a good job not as Chancellor but distracting the news agenda from his own failings.

| It was interesting hearing Sunak trying to defend his wife's non dom status yesterday.
He described his wife as a proud Indian, who would one day wish to return to India, which is great and nobody can have issue with that sentiment.
However, he also described himself as proud to be British and wants to live in this "great" country.
Are they going to divorce or, just live in different continents ?
None of this seems to matter now as she has apparently decided to change her status and will pay all her taxes in the UK ?? really ??
Poor Rishi hasn't had the best couple of weeks in his political life.
Seen by some as Prime Minister "elect", he now looks like he may be lucky to remain in the cabinet and it was always going to be the case.
The decisions that he has to make on how to "balance the books" were never ever going to be popular and with incomes and spending power going backwards ever more quickly, there doesn't seem too much light at the end of the political tunnel.
Hopefully, he can take his next door neighbour with him if/when he goes.
