My last post was literally from the back of my mind, i wasn't implying the NAZI's if i got the order wrong so be it i'll hold my hands up. When you quoted the muslims will have to fend for themselves it reminded me of a classic case of divide and conquer hence my reply.

Actually it's looking more special than it ever did. We are coming to the conclusion that the creation of "life" only happened once. All life existing now or that we can track through fossil records is basically the same biologically. There are common components that can be found in all forms of life - even virus. The conclusions that can be drawn from that are that either only one form of life survived or can survive on Earth or that only one life creating event actually happened in the entire history of the planet.

As for what scientist mean by Earth type planets, the criteria that is thought to be of critical importance is liquid water. Temperature, atmosphere, Gravity etc all become factors.

I think it's highly unlikely that life as we know it does not exist on other planets, but there is a chance we could be alone and the biggest fluke in the universe. If you think like that then the way we behave and the value we place in each other is a disgrace.

Or we are the end result of the interactions between myriad life creating events. Or, or, or ...



I think the above is completely unscientific. We don't even know how life started on this planet and yet somehow it's possible to rule out it beginning in ALL the possible permutations of environments other than our own and those similar? No chance.

I mean, there's strong possibility we may find fundamentally different lifeforms on one or more of our near neighbours in the solar system. Granted, the chances of sentience are slim. But here again - we aren't even sure what "sentience" is - so it's a bit rich to make definitive claims about it.



Look on the bright side. Plenty of room for expansion.

Doesn't it depend on whether the universe is infinite, making the possibility of being alone in the universe mathematically impossible?

I suspect that not only is the universe weirder than we imagine - it's weirder than we CAN imagine.

They've evacuated buildings at London Bridge station and now there's a suspicious vehicle in Portland Place near the BBC.

Just before a big debate/vote on bombing Syria.

What a load of bull.

So come on Flat Stanley, you broke the news here, give us an update. Did the suspicious vehicle have an alleged Bomb in? Are all those buildings still evacuated to raise awareness of these fake terrorists you keep telling us about? I'm waiting with interest for the next instalment! Surely, this plan must have greatly disturbed the debate/vote to swing opinion on the bombing of Syria!?

So it looks like the UK is going to be dragged into another endless war it's people don't want, whilst David Cameron has the gaul to call people who don't support his agenda "terrorist sympathisers". It all makes me sick to my stomach.

This is nothing more than a starter. Something big and very ugly is in the pipeline. I suspect it will come around September 2017 (for a variety of reasons the US invariably chooses September as the starting month for major military campaigns). That said, I think the Russian move into Syria took a few people by surprise and the countdown could conceivably be pushed forward.

9/11 was the starting pistol for a major rewrite of laws governing civil liberties, incarceration, warrantless surveillance etc. in all Western nations. Moreover, huge sums of money have been invested in internal security specifically in the field domestic counter-insurgency.

Roughly translated - they are gearing up for the kind of civil disturbance which is the product of a major (and very unpopular) war (I also suspect we are heading for yet another economic shock - but that's another issue entirely).

Right now just about everyone in the West is thoroughly sick of war and so in order to make this plan work they are going to have to pull an ISIS rabbit out of a hat and scare the bejeezus out of everybody.

You'll know it's coming maybe two or three months in advance when leaks appear in the media about governments or major international corporations reporting staggering financial losses or gross and inexplicable misappropriation of funds. Such stories are a smokescreen for the real purpose of said funds. Major false flag operations are highly complex and insanely expensive to run. Huge quantities of cash are required to grease the skids in advance so that all obstacles to the success of the plan are removed beforehand. Payoffs to the major players both domestically and in client states. Myriad bribes to elected officials, foreign politicians, local warlords, drug-traffickers etc. Then there are the operational expenses of those agents involved in the plot (at whatever level). We're talking big, big money here. Not the kind of thing which you want putting through the yearly accounts.
