There are more people being murdered in Chicago every year by AMERICANS.
Over 3000 people were shot in Chicago last year.
Shootings and murders are so common in this city that most dont even make the news and Trump wants to ban Muslims.

All countries try to keep known criminals out and unless someone comes of a plane with weapons in their hand luggage, it's nigh on impossible to know who the next murderer is and bearing in mind that they can arm themselves within minutes of entering the States, does he really think this will make a difference.

It's more likely to make it easier to recruit jihadists as they can point to the fact that they are being persecuted.

By singling out Muslims, he will do more harm than good.
All over the world, radical preachers will use Trump as a reason to join their fight and instead of eradicating the problem, the stance that he has taken against one particular religion will come back and bite him.
People are not born terrorists, they are converted and Trump should have said that he would stop everyone that was a threat (assuming they could be identified) rather than appearing to blame all Muslims.

An immigration ban that restricts entry to the US for nationals of 7 countries - none of which have produced a citizen who has carried out a terrorist attack on US soil, from 9/11 onwards. During the same time frame, 94 people have been killed in the US by terrorists, all of which were US Citizens. (facts - not alternative ones.) Also telling that several of the potential countries that could have been included on his list but weren't, are ones in which he has significant business interests. (opinion - possibly fake news.)

Meanwhile, about 12,000 US citizens are killed every year by guns, with a further 20,000 or so injured (facts again,) but Obama was repeatedly stymied in any attempt to control the 300 million guns (not a precise figure) that are in circulation.

As I mentioned in my previous post, any political leader than singles out any particular race, creed, religion etc is clearly going to hack that group off.
It wont be long before one of these people goes ott and in America, that will lead to loss of life.
