But if Scotland is allowed to keep the pound/BOE this would mean accepting the BOE retains control over all Scottish budgets, spending and borrowing (so not independent at all) then it is likely the costs of doing business north of the border would be higher than the rUK thus negating any advantage of a lower rate of corporation tax.
If any UK business were thinking of a new domicile to reduce corporation tax then they would pick Ireland (UK 21% Independent Scotland 18% Ireland 12.5%) |

No that is not correct. 20% is only the small profits rate. The main rate as I stated is 21%.

The SNP didn't get into power off the back of Westminster. The failure of the Tories & now Labour in Scotland has simply meant Westminster is the next obstacle in the way of a free Scotland.
I actually believe the Scots will vote No, but it won't be anything to do with being pro Westminster. |

Indeed. But when you looked were you wearing your Stevie Wonder specs? Otherwise you would have seen that two thirds of the total chargeable corporation tax comes from the companies paying the main rate.
