Why not just buy 'em you cheapskate pirate monkey ar5hole?

Most of them can be picked up for about five queens.

Death of the film industry, wood lice like you, death of the film industry.

Finally got round to watching the last two Harry Potter's and was very pleasantly surprised at how good they were. The first was slightly over long, I felt, but was very dark (for a Harry Potter film). It all came together in a very satisfying and exciting conlusion.

As much as I don't really rate Rowling as an author, she did well to pull strands from throughout her work in a way that made some kind of sense.

I was surprised to hear mention of Harry's massive wealth once more. I thought that had been ret-conned after the first film and we were supposed to forget about it.

You're being very aggressive tonight Sandra.

I'll put it down to the flatulence.

Anyone seen [iBombon El Perro[/i ?

Noticed it's on Film4 over the weekend and it gets a decent little write-up.

I enjoyed it a lot. Nothing much really happens but it's still a good watch. And the dog is awesome!

Continuing the countdown. Into the top 50 from rl50 to 41rl.

Freeview Film of the Week
If you're looking for something to watch/record this week and don't mind watching low budget world cinema then I recommend [iKatalin Varga[/i on BBC4 Wednesday night at 12.50am, which will be appearing in my countdown of the best of the 00s. It's a debut feature from a British guy who could only get funding for his project in Europe so he took it to Romania. If you can get by without reading the synopsis you're in for a treat and the same with the opening twenty minutes or so because this a slow-paced and complex morality tale. Little seen but brilliant.

I've had Dancer in the Dark for ages, but not got round to watching it yet - I'll have to get onto that.

Loved Broken Flowers. Hated Napoleon Dynamite - never saw what all the fuss about it was, despite usually enjoying oddball comedy type films.

Same here with Napolean Dynamite. Couldn't stand it, in fact didn't even get to the end. My mates all love it simply for the fact it was cool to do so.

Also found Crank hard to watch. As impressive as it should be, I can't stand Jason Statham straining to be gruff and manly. But then I could watch the luscious Amy Smart until the day Cas win the Superleague so it should have balanced itself out.

A few on there I've not seen and will definitely try - thank you to McLennan, these lists are superb. icon_thumb.gif

Watched Human Centipede last night, terrible, terrible film. There just seemed no point to it, and it was obvious what was going to happen a couple of scenes before it actually did.

And were those two women at the start being ironically bad actresses or was that them actually 'acting'?
