Well Russia didn't suffer from flooding. They got the Winter Olympics and a slightly larger country.

Its well known that those who rail against homosexuality are actually doing so to hide the fact that they themselves are attracted to people of the same sex - Putin is a prime example and I'd hazard a guess that you are having difficulties surpressing your own sexual urges?

They're not clever enough to "consider" it so.

They believe it to be the case for a variety of reasons: some because they think that their invisible sky pixie doesn't like it and some because they're just bigots.

Some of them may even be the same sort of folk who declare that the plebs should be religious because it keeps them under control, but obviously they themselves don't need to believe all that nonsense and don't need keeping under control in the same way.

I don't get the hate directed towards homosexuals, it's not illegal and is it really that bad that two people of the same set love each other, how does that affect the 'moral fibre of society'?

Do I find the thought of 2 men having a sex disgusting, yes but am I disgusted that men have sex with each other, no.
The thought is off putting but only because it's not my bag, but I don't find it morally reprehensible? Of course I don't and i really don't understand how anyone can think they should be able to control two grown adults love for each other.
