Frankly i would be worried if my companies main driver wasn't profit, it certainly wouldn't be employing over 50 people and paying taxes into the HMRC coffers.'"
Of course it's profit, that was never in question.

You think without that money these vaccines would not have been developed - really?

| Quote: The Ghost of '99 "I voted Labour for the first time because it was clear, to me at least, how dangerous Johnson and his party had become. Dangerous because of some of the anti- constitutional stuff they were trying to do, dangerous because they were pandering - more than pandering - to dangerous authoritarian elements and had purged their party of moderates. And we've always known Johnson is a lazy liar who does everything for his own personal advancement.
Corbyn was/is definitely not my cup of tea in lots of ways - although policy wise the Labour platform was the more sensible - but he struck me as a much lower risk than a dangerously extremist, anti-fact, anti-science, nakedly corrupt Tory party. We couldn't have dreamed how important and deadly and costly those that two last points would turn out to be within a matter of weeks.'"

Much of what Leavers think they know about the EU, condom regulations, straight bananas and all, come from when Johnson was the Brussels correspondent of the Telegraph when he manufactured story after story after story - the foundational myths upon which this entire escapade was based.
Anyone with a tiny bit of knowledge knows that lying is his stock-in-trade. Sometimes he does it for laughs, sometimes he does it for power, but everyone who isn't stuck in some sort of cult of personality knows that he does it all the time.

| You have to love this one:
“There will be no checks on goods going from GB to NI and NI to GB because we are going to come out of the EU whole and entire. That was the objective we secured”
Err, not quite how it's worked out, Boris

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I doubt you'll answer, but out of interest what sector of key workers do you work in?
You've said before that you have first hand experience.

I worked directly with provisioning of meals to vulnerable/isolated people in the community where I live..
I'd seen how people discharged from hospitals and left on their own due to the reaction to covid with no family members and isolated end up more undernourished, this leads in part to more ill health and death. Particularly when the vulnerable/elderly are discharged far too early back into the community often with severely reduced care which we've seen in the last 11 months.
Would you like to know any other aspects of my previous background and what I've trained in as well as real world experience? None of which has any real bearing of being able to read and count/understand raw data regards experimental medical treatments.

| I agree with a lot of your first paragraph, I'm not a nutritionist so I defer to you on that aspect.
People were undoubtedly discharged from hospital back into the community and care homes with COVID and this is a scandal.
I had huge arguments around Easter last year with hospitals trying to discharge people to care homes, the care homes were made to accept people back on my days off.
Services stopped. Just stopped. Nothing. Day centres in the third sector gone, no new care packages, not being able to go see the people you work for.
What I don't understand is what you feel is the end game to all of this?
What's it for?
Why is it happening.?
