I see they are as innovative as ever. And people abuse EA for the FIFA series, but this is far worse.

Really?
I hated it, the most disappointing game I've played this generation. Still, would be boring if we all had the same tastes and the market would be flooded with all the same types of games.

| I actually quite liked the multiplayer side of Black Ops, I thought Treyarch did their best to bring some new ideas to the table.
It looks like they've gone for the futuristic feel in BO2 though, set around 2025 I think. Expect lots of drones and fancy gadgets then.

54062_1294991734.gif RLFans finest:
[quote="Saint77777":3t42372l]Maguire was a black mark on RL in this country. Whilst coaches like Daniel Anderson and Brian McLennan won championships on the back of exciting Rugby league, Maguire set out to win at all costs, evident by the way Danny Maguire was seriously injured and laughed at on the floor by the wigan players as he writhed in agony. Then there has been the constant bending back of limbs, trying to seriously maim the opposition. Even Phil Clarke has jumped on the bandwagon with his disgusting comments about the Danny Maguire incident.
I think its fitting that the 2 fairest teams in the comp, who have been on the receiving end of Wigans tactics should contest the Grand Final and make it a proper family day out instead of the knuckle dragging, salivating neanderthals from Wigan, that would pour into manchester on grand final day.
I for one cant wait to mingle with the Leeds fans and have a beer with them, rather than having to watch my arms and legs, should wigan have got there.[/quote:3t42372l]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_54062.gif |

| Done copying themselves, copying other things. Looks very Killzone/Crysis/Terminator to me. Of course it'll get the plaudits and all the idiots my age will buy it.

| Finally got round to playing Trials Evolution and had a blast. After a dodgy start on the intial slow bike I started to get it together.
Destroyed one track leaving Onewild and Wadski hours behind and ending up 454th in the world which was nice

| FIFA 13 details announced, more of the usual groundbreaking moving forward of the footballing genreAttacking intelligence[/i - Players can analyse plays and take up better positions, making intelligent runs off-the-ball
2 - [iComplete dribbling[/i - Players utilise precise dribble touches with true 360 degree mobility
3 - [i1st touch control[/i - Eliminates near-perfect control for every player by creating context sensitive uncertainty
4 - [i2nd generation player impact engine[/i - Expands physical play from just collisions to off-the-ball battles
5 - [iTactical free kicks[/i - Can position up to 3 attacking players over the ball. Dummy runs, lay off options and elaborate free kicks'"
Here is my take on this:
1 - A MASSIVE thing, if it's any good. Roddy has moaned on and on about this for the best part of a decade on here and he's right. Up to now the only real movements were made by the human player, but his team mates were so utterly static when you had the ball. If they can improve this so for examples fullbacks make forward runs and there is fluid motion on the field, it will take a lot of the classic FIFA rigidity away.
2 - Sounds like a bit of PR fluff to me, 360 movement and precision dribbling were highlights of FIFA 12, so all they've done is change 'precision' for 'complete'. Will be interesting to see if they've tightened up the controls on this, as it's not a feature anyone ever used on FIFA 12 in my experience.
3 - Another BRILLIANT feature update from EA. They really do have to be commended for listening to the feedback and acting upon it. The magnetised, automatic control meant that it was still so, so easy to just ping passes around. So now if you ping a 45 yard pass over Tony Hibbert's shoulder, rather than control in an instance, he's going to shin it into the second row of the crowd like he would in real life.
4 - Making off the ball motion more fluid and lifelike is a good thing, but I hope this doesn't mean off the ball players will do the horrible 'jockying' animation from the current games where they are basically locked together, pulling and pushing for 60 metres at a time.
5 - 'Tactical' free kicks? What is tactical about a free kick exactly? Why the buzz word? Why not 'better free kicks'? Again, another feature which is already in the game on FIFA 12 where you can create free kicks in training, just another feature no one uses.
