As I said, I'll wait for more to come out before pronouncing on the subject. Somethging as potentially damaging as this should never be subject to simple extrapolation, as appears to be the case. I'm not bothered how long it takes or how much it costs but each and every single case (young person, let's not lose sight of that), should be subject to review.

It does beg the question as to why the senior Pakistanis in the area didn't crack down on these individuals - there does seem to be a culture of self governance in some areas within this community.

How old are you? How many of the drug dealers in your area have you cracked down on personally of late?

How do you suggest you - or senior Pakistanis - might justify their vigilantism in police interview?

Why should senior Pakistanis have some right to be judge jury and executioner and what about the rights of those they cracked down upon, who might deny being guilty of anything, or do you believe senior Pakistanis are oracles that can divine the truth without the need for due process of law?


Like all perversions and illegal proclivities, it's exceedingly well-known. But "why"? There are, quite clearly, people who have come to this country who have zero interest whatsoever in contributing to our society or conforming to our way of life. What is worse is that a number of these people are actively out to cause us harm.

Wincanton a "leafy middle-class suburb"? Don't make me fooking laugh. It's a town of approximately 7000 inhabitants, many of whom are either Polish and Portuguese, with a healthy smattering of Chinese and Indian, Pakistani & Sri Lankan. We all seem to get along quite well, the blokes get their hair cut at the Portuguese barber, couples bypass ther cream tea for a decent cup of coffee and some Portuguese pastries. Some folks even go to the Polish shop to buy "something different". A Chinese guy runs the chippy, we have two Chinese takeaways and one restaurant and two Asian restaurants. Sorry, I almost forgot the Turkish kebabby. Not too shabby a mix for the size of town.



There are far more born & bred here, who would claim English parentage and have little to no inclination to ever assimilate themselves into society. So don't try that one

Isn't that the point in all this though? The fear of being outed as a racist despite the fact criminal offences had been committed. Rotherham council were scared to act due to the majority of men involved being of Pakistani origin. What's more important, keeping vulnerable children safe or keeping the PC brigade happy? This is a story that won't go away and will probably uncover more goings on across the country, just like the Savile revelations did. No single person is above the law.
