I wouldn't define Cameron as "sucessful" in the sense that he has succeeded at something. He inherited wealth from his father ( a tax avoider) and married wealth ( daughter of another tax avoider) He was educated at a school that claims charitable status in order to avoid tax. Neither he (nor Osbourne nor any of this sordid lot) has any right to condemn someone for avoiding tax.
You're right though. A proper Labour government would have done something about it, but they didn't dare to be a proper Labour government, because four election defeats largely engineered by the [iright-wing[/i bias in the media, taught them that basically they couldn't and still remain in power. |
