| Watched [iDrive[/i last night and this is definitely a guilty pleasure - noirish, stylised and really quite graphically violent, this is probably a bit of a marmite film given some of the dialogue and the gore, not to mention a fairly reserved central character in Ryan Gosling's driver - an up to date version of the Man with No Name.
I liked it alot, partly because of the supreme soundtrack but also the atmospheric, Michael Mann-esque portrayal of LA and its pulp 80's feel reminiscent of [iThief[/i and [iTo Live and Die in LA[/i. Not a classic, but a good watch - not for the squeamish though, I'd suggest.

| Quote: Horatio Yed "Bridesmaids funny, very funny
Limitless loved it but needed a better ending
Thor Wife loved it, everyone i know who has seen it at the very least liked it, i hated it.
Horrible Bosses really enjoyed it, Colin Farrell is great.
Not seen Hangover 2 yet or Troll Hunter
Has anyone seen Troll Hunter, looks awesome wish it was dubbed instead of ST but i'll live.'"
Thor - enjoyed it in a predictable, childish, but nonetheless impressive sort of way. Does what it says on the tin, and Natalie Portman is as delectable as ever.
Troll Hunter - think Blair Witch meets Cloverfield meets Monsters. Also enjoyed this but it's a strange one. The acting isn't outstanding but the visuals and concept are superb. A quirky little storyline. Worth a go.
Hangover 2 - the wife absolutely loved it, I laughed more at the first Hangover, but there are genuine roar-out-loud moments interspersed with a bit of hilarious uncomfortable squirming. Keeps you guessing throughout and genuinely funny. Also worth a go.

The only two I've watched out of that group is - Y Tu Mama Tambien and 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days.
They were both part of the recent World Cinema series on Film 4 I believe.
Thought they were both superb, especially the former.
The actress enlightening the two yoofs was a hot piece of ass.

Excellent, it's definitely the best thing he's done although rumour has it, his next film is pretty special or so says producer Del Toro which is no surprise I guess lol.
Continuing on, numbers rl70 to 61rl.

| McLennan;
you have quite an ecletic taste in films, not all to my taste, but each to his own.
In The Loop, must be 1 of the funniest, crudeist, politically incorrect films I've ever seen. Thought it was a pity that some of the out-takes were'nt included in the original, especially the "Hellraiser" gag.

Maribel Verdu. Absolute stunner. And a good actress to boot. Y Tu Mama Tambien is pretty high up in my favourite films list to be honest. Superb stuff.

Just thought it was a mesmerising film, from the beginning when the lads were swimming ballocko in the pool, till the last scene, on the beach, when were informed she had passed away.
It has plenty to say for itself as a piece of work.

Very nearly didn't give your No64 a chance because of the lead actor (I was miles out).
I'm glad I did!
It was touching, moving and redemptive.
If you've made mistakes in life, (some of us aplenty) then it was, strangely cleansing.
Aranofsky is a genius by the way, Requiem For A Dream, which I only saw for the first time last year, blew me well and truly away.
