They were brilliant. It was kinda rubbish, as I couldn't get right to the front, as it was too full, so was right at the front of the second section. I was right on the barrier for Arcade Fire, which was ace.
I saw Monkeys at their Sheffield show on June 10, but I knew they wouldn't play Mardy Bum/Certain Romance again. They were fantastic in Sheffield, but I don't think I'll go to the Arena tour. £37 is too much unfortunately, plus I've heard the 02 is a crap venue, plus I'm not too big on arenas for gigs. |

I'm not really too keen on Metal, like a bit of it. I'm more into the 90s Alternative stuff - like Pumpkins, Weezer, Pavement, Beck, Pearl Jam etc. Which is kind of disappointing, as I grew up in the 90s, so kinda missed out on it first time round. I do like indie as well from the early/mid 2000s, but think it's gone all stale now.

This evening has, by accident, been mostly about Alexisonfire. Watch Out remains one of my favourite albums ever, particularly when you have songs like Get Fighted and Happiness by the Kilowatt.

There's plenty there that any "metal" fan would enjoy mate, just can't get Pavement though. |
