Can I have my own thread as a lifelong Liberal Democrat so I can offer my opinion too. Or could it be that people of multiple political persuasions are very concerned at the conduct of this government so one thread is actually fine.

If a Tory minister is making a fool of themselves in public, it is probably because they are passing some awful law in the commons and want to keep it out of the headlines.

The thicko Brexit voting gammon lot are obsessed with the war on woke which is why Nadine Dorries has been appointed culture secretary. So it’s quite important to them.
